Before joining Momentum, Alex was a litigator at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and Pryor Cashman. Her practice focused on intellectual property matters, employment counseling and litigation, and other complex commercial litigation for clients in the entertainment, art, and fashion sectors. With seven years of practice at both a major global law firm and a top mid-sized firm, Alex understands the realities of law firm life, the differences between big-law and lifestyle-oriented firms, and how to evaluate the right time to make a move.
Alex graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations. She received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, where she graduated cum laude and served as Production Editor for the Michigan Journal of Race and Law. Alex spends her time trying new restaurants and bars, cooking for friends, working out at Orangetheory, and reading. She lives in Brooklyn with her adorable (but anxious) dog Harry.
