Meredith Cohen is a Senior Managing Director of Momentum Search Group.

Before joining Momentum, Meredith practiced as a corporate associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, specializing in mergers & acquisitions and completing a rotation in investment management. As a result of her experience as an associate, Meredith has a distinct perspective on the large law firm environment, as well as the opportunities that would appeal to those BigLaw associates looking to make a change. Meredith’s specialty is associate, counsel, and partner recruitment for both law firm and in-house clients. She also has extensive experience relocating candidates to other markets, including recent work in Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Houston.

She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, where she graduated with honors. She also has a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude, served as Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy, and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Meredith lives with her husband and daughter in Greenwich Village and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and working out.
